As the end of the school year draws near, scholarship committees around the country will be pouring over applications in order to determine and notify their winners before graduation. If you haven’t applied for any awards yet, don’t be discouraged – you can still get additional money for college. Here are a few scholarship programs with Spring deadlines:

  • Stuck at Prom 2011 – scholarship contest awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for best prom attire made from Duct brand tape; deadline June 13
  • National Society Daughters of the American Revolution – provides scholarships of varying amounts to students pursuing law, history, nursing and education; some awards deadline April 15
  • Holocaust Remembrance Project – essay contest awarding college scholarships ranging from $2,500 -$5,000 for essays based on study of the Holocaust; deadline April 15
