The Washington Center (TWC) is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C.
Operates the largest academic internship program in the country with a network of more than 50,000 alumni
Students with a class status of sophomore and above at an accredited college/university who meet basic academic criteria are eligible to apply
Interested students can participate in TWC's fall, spring or summer academic internship programs – held in Washington, D.C. and several locations abroad
Partake in 1-to-2-week intensive learning seminars focused on topics ranging from public policy to international affairs TWC offers several times a year
TWC raises approximately $5 million in scholarships each year
Over 75% of student applicants receive some type of monetary assistance to attend TWC
Organized programs, learning activities, career guidance and academic courses
Take advantage of educational partnerships with hundreds of colleges and universities to earn up to a whole semester’s worth of academic credit during their internship
Each student has a full-time advisor to oversee his/her academic and professional progress during their participation in TWC's programs
