University of Wisconsin – Madison

Brief Description:  UW’s flagship school is a public university located along the shore of Lake Mendota in Wisconsin’s capital city of Madison.

High Honors: Despite an expansive campus and large student body (enrollment tops out at about 43,000), students at UW-Madison feel a tight sense of community. The University also garners high rankings for its academics, nightlife, athletics and local culture.

Healthy Living: In addition to 150 miles of trails and 6,000 acres of parkland, students at UW-Madison have access to indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, two swimming pools, more than 100 group fitness classes, 35 club teams and 40 intramural sports. Bikes also outnumber cars in Madison!

Fun Fact: UW-Madison is home to ten museums and galleries, five theatres and five concert halls which play host to more than 1,500 performing arts events on campus each year.
