The word for December is productivity! Don’t wait until the new year to take action, start now! Plan ahead, do some research, make the most of your winter break. Sure binge watching shows and movies on Netflix is ideal. However, the “real world” doesn’t stop just because you’re out of school for a few weeks. Here are three things to do over your winter break that are sure to keep you productive.

    1. Research:

Take time during your break to do some research. Now is the time to look for scholarships, internships and jobs for the summer and fall of 2017.

    2. Volunteer:

There are endless ways to give back during the holiday season. Volunteer at a local soup kitchen, organize a coat drive, donate clothes to a local shelter or thrift store just to name a few.

    3. Mingle:

Put yourself out there! Attend holiday mixers, meet new people and promote the brand of you. No matter if you are a high school student, a senior in college or a grad student; making connections are always beneficial.
