QR Code

What is it?

Quick Response (QR) codes are bar codes that store information like websites, messages, images and more. Free apps on smartphones and other devices allow anyone to scan the code and see your message.

Why should we use it?

Leverage the power of technology to reach more applicants and increase participation in your program.

How does it work?

ISTS creates a website with your information – such as your logo, eligibility requirements, launch & deadline dates and award amounts – and stores your website information in a custom QR code. Place the code on posters, brochures, postcards or any other marketing material for scanning by your audience and they can have the link to the application e-mailed to them.

Text Message Notifications

What is it?

Program-related messages such as reminders to incomplete applicants and winner announcements are delivered directly to your applicants’ mobile devices. 

Why should we use it?

Using our Text Notification service increases the efficiency and effectiveness of your communications. Among typical applicant pools, text messages are more reliable and cost-effective than standard communications.  

How does it work?

Applicants provide mobile phone numbers during the application process and opt-in to receive text notifications. Your program manager will schedule “text blasts” as needed throughout your program season.

Supported carriers: Alltel, AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cellular One, Cellular South, Cincinnati Bell, Cricket, MetroPCS, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon Wireless & Virgin Mobile.

Program Multimedia Tools

What is it?

Branded videos, helpful webinars and informative podcasts can be used as educational or training resources for your applicants, members, judges or other interested parties. These tools can be used to showcase your program, explain parts of the application process or provide additional guidance for college-bound applicants. 

Why should we use it?

Applicants, parents and other program participants will appreciate learning more about your program and how to successfully complete the process. Branding these tools enhance the perception of your brand and can ensure a professional appearance.

How does it work?

ISTS can develop and brand short videos that can be embedded directly on your online application. Webinars are scheduled as requested and hosted live. After the live webinar is over, ISTS can provide a recording of the session for continued use. Podcasts may cover a wide variety of scholarship-related topics and are also provided digitally for use throughout the program season.

What is it?
