  • How do you decide compensation?

    We conduct market analysis based on the role requirements and carefully determine a range for every position. We believe we have a responsibility to compensate employees fairly and believe that compensation goes beyond a paycheck to include things like benefits, workplace culture and quality of life.

  • What will happen after I apply?

    First, you’ll receive a thank-you email to let you know we received your application. You’ll be reminded to complete a Culture Index Survey to wrap up the application process. Once your application is complete, we’ll review your application carefully and then reach out to let you know what’s next.

  • Why do you use video interviews?

    A lot of qualified candidates want to work with us, but we like to hire people, not qualifications. A resume only gives us a little hint of who you are, so we use video interviews to get to know applicants on a deeper level. We know it can feel a little awkward (OK, maybe a lot awkward), but trust us – you’re in good company.

  • I didn’t get a follow-up email and it’s been more than a week, what’s going on?

    If you applied for an open position, the chances are really good that we reached out. Even if you got the confirmation email when you submitted your application, check your spam folder to be sure our follow-up wasn’t filtered out by your email provider. We strive to reply to every application because we know what it’s like to be left wondering and don’t want that to happen to you.

  • Why do you use Culture Index?

    We ask all candidates to complete the Culture Index Survey so we can see how it may apply to your work-related needs as well as our company requirements. It also assists us in better employee management and development.

  • What’s the corporate ladder like at ISTS and how can I climb it?

    We don’t think it takes a title to be a leader. We believe in people growing to be their best self, no matter where they are and our flat organizational structure reflects that idea. We want to help employees grow and achieve their career goals. Professional Development Plans are an expectation, but if you’re a corporate climber concerned with titles, ISTS probably isn’t your kind of place.
