Book of the Month:
The Wisdom of Wooden: A Century of Family, Faith, and Friends by John Wooden and Steve Jamison will be released later this month. Wooden, considered one of the greatest coaches in the history of American sports, died June 4 at age 99. This compilation of advice, never-before-seen photographs and personal memories, completed just weeks before his death, highlights the lessons and values of an extraordinary life on and off the court.

Gadget of the Month:
Move over Kindle, there’s a new e-reader in town. Barnes and Noble recently introduced the NOOK Wi-Fi, a fast, lightweight e-reader capable of storing up to 1,500 books, newspapers and magazines. The NOOK Wi-Fi has many of the same features of comparable devices like the Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader but with a smaller price tag, making it an ideal companion for students now and into the upcoming school year. For under $150, the NOOK offers free wireless internet access at Barnes and Noble bookstores and any AT&T hotspot, enabling users to check e-mail, surf the web, read e-books free in stores, share favorite titles with friends and entertain themselves from thousands of locations nationwide.  Anyone up for some summer reading?
