Do you love to play video games- Make a career out of it!
Do you love to play video games? Make a career out of it! Some people think video games are just for fun and leisure. However, in 2016 the computer and video game industry generated $30.4 billion in revenue in the U.S alone.

Last year we saw the mobile gaming industry explode with the worldwide phenomenon Pokémon Go. According to research by App Annie, Pokémon Go launched on July 5, 2016 and made over $950 million in revenue by the end of 2016. In addition to the money the game made, Pokémon Go was also the most downloaded app worldwide in 2016 for both the iOS and Google Play app stores.

With fresh concepts like virtual reality headsets, consoles and wearable tech introduced to the public, growth in the computer and video game industry is expected to continue to rise.

Over 400 colleges, universities, art and trade schools across the country offer video game-related courses or degree programs.
