Hey physical therapy students, we know the cost of school can be expensive so our friends at want to help you out! Up to five scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to physical therapy students who exhibit academic excellence and a strong sense of personal commitment to continuing their education.

Ranked #16 in The 100 Best Jobs by U.S. News and World Report, pursuing a career in physical therapy can be rewarding and promising. Per the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for physical therapists is expected to grow 34% from 2014-2024. Projecting more than 71,800 new physical therapist jobs will be available in the next decade.

Upon entering the profession, all physical therapists will need a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and must be licensed. Works settings can vary from clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, transitional care, schools and rehabilitation centers. In 2016 the median pay for physical therapists was $85,400 annually.

Each year, the physical therapy scholarship helps the most promising physical therapy students achieve their goals and realize their dreams. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher enrolled in a physical therapy program at a credited college or university. In addition, applicants must be a United States resident with a valid ID.
